Court Rules
Courts are available from daylight to 10:00 p.m. 7 days a week on a first-come, first-serve basis.
An IPHA resident must be present to use the courts and is required to display IPHA-issued plaques if asked by another resident.
Tennis and pickleball lessons may be given by an instructor by reservation but the instructor must be either a resident or a guest of a resident.
Tennis, pickleball and basketball courts have a one-hour limit when others are waiting.
Anyone caught hanging from the basketball rim may be asked to leave by any resident.
Anyone caught climbing the fence may be asked to leave by any resident and if repeated, could be banned from the courts.
No sitting on tennis or pickleball nets.
Court Etiquette
Appropriate court behavior and attire is required of all players. Cooperation and respect are essential on the courts to avoid interfering with play on the adjacent courts. If you hit a ball onto another court, immediately yell “Ball on Court.” If a ball is going toward another court, do not follow it onto the other court. Stop and yell “Ball on Court” and let the other players stop play and retrieve the ball. No point is worth tripping over a loose ball and hurting yourself or another player. Courtesy for other players enhances court use for everyone. Spectators and waiting players should remain outside the court area.
Court Reservations
A tennis or pickleball court may be reserved for a lesson, not to exceed one hour or for a party not to exceed two hours. The fee for a reservation of any court is $10/hour payable to IPHA. Reservations are made via the IPHA reservation form on the website.
